| While I fully support the second amendment and the rights given to us by our founding fathers, I believe that some restrictions are necessary and could help curb many avoidable issues. A licensure process similar to that required for driving can ensure proper ownership, safety precautions, and more without infringing on anybody's rights. A more comprehensive background check system can ensure that those who need not own guns cannot obtain one legally. This, also, would not infringe on anybody's rights. | |||

These are people who risked their lives for the betterment of our society, so why aren't they being treated with the utmost of importance that they deserve? |
